Excellent product. Great value.
As a shopper, I look for furniture that I am going to love as much 30 years from now, as today, and I look for a good value. The Darlee Monte Carlo set fits this definition perfectly. I looked at "higher end brands" including Mallin and Tropitone, and this set fit my needs better than their offerings at a much better price point for anything comparable.
My needs for this set included getting bar height, to improve the view on my deck, and getting a heavy set that was impervious to being blown around in wind storms. Also attractive and well built, of course. This set is the best I've seen at fitting those needs, at any price.
The set is heavy, which is a plus for my needs, but perhaps could be a negative for some shoppers. The Cast aluminum components appear next to indestructible. There is a finish on the cast aluminum that appears well done, but only time will tell how long it lasts (same for most any product). With furniture built like this, I would just refinish if/when the finish becomes an issue.
Assembly was very straight forward. I unpacked, assembled, placed the set on my deck, and cleaned up the packing materials in less than an hour, by myself. Adjustable feet allow for easy leveling of the chairs. Assembly and placement requires a moderate level of strength for the table in particular, or could be aided with an extra pair of hands.
